    HOPEWELL — A Finger Lakes Community College student has been charged with making a bomb threat that forced the evacuation of the building Wednesday morning. Nahrie T. Watts, 19, of Canandaigua, was arrested by the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office and charged with first-degree falsely reporting an incident, a Class D violent felony. As of Wednesday, Watts remained in the Ontario County Jail awaiting arraignment.

    GENEVA — Police are seeking information related to a KKK etching found on the wall of the lake tunnel — a pedestrian path that connects downtown with Lakefront Park. City Police Chief Ron Eveland said police were called to the lakefront tunnel on Wednesday at approximately 12:45 p.m. for a suspicious condition complaint. “Officers located an etching of KKK on the tunnel wall,” said Eveland, who added that the etching was approximately 5 inches in height and created with a pencil.

    HOPEWELL — A bomb threat at Finger Lakes Community College's main building this morning resulted in the evacuation of the campus, officials said. FLCC spokesperson Lenore Friend said the first message on the incident was sent to all employees and students shortly after 10 a.m. The message said a suspect was in the custody of the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office and that police were searching the building.
