Plans have been filed to bring a trio of restaurants to a site along a growing corridor in Sanford — but its contracted buyer may have other ideas. A property in a growing Seminole County corridor is being pursued for diverging development plans – one of which would give rise to a trio of restaurants. Plans filed with the county for a project labeled "Sanford Retail" reveal a site plan for three quick-service restaurants at 5642 W. State Road 46 in Sanford, near the Orange Boulevard intersection.

A new report shows Orlando drivers lost less time sitting in traffic in 2024 than in 2023. Here's how the region compares to other peer markets. Metro Orlando residents lost 27 hours sitting in traffic in 2024 — at a cost of $483 per drive — according to a new study from Kirkland, Washington-based transportation analytics company Inrix Inc. The findings reinforce the idea that "time is money," but also make the case things could be worse in Central Florida.
