A staff report on the Cold Weather Housing Response Program for the 2024β25 season provided some cold, hard facts about the plight of the unhoused population in the district to members of the District of Nipissing Social Service Administration Board on Wednesday. In examining a cold-weather season that ranged from Nov. 27, 2024, to April 30, board members learned the program at Northern Pines on Chippewa Street West remained at its full capacity of 34 individuals per night throughout the winter.
