Hull City Ladies' acting general manager Adrian Costello says the club's move to North Ferriby's Dransfield Stadium shows their "new era" will revolve around listening to supporters. Off the field, it was a difficult end to 2024-25 for the club, not affiliated with their male namesakes, as they attracted national headlines for off-field behaviour currently under investigation. But Costello says it will be an "honour" to play in a new home which can give supporters and players what they want.

Sheffield Wednesday have been charged by the Football League (EFL) with "multiple breaches" of their regulations after once more failing to pay their staff on time. And owner/chairman Dejphon Chansiri has also been charged personally for not keeping his commitment to meet the club's finding requirements. The charges relate to the "ultimate beneficial owner" – Thai businessman Chansiri – and the club failing to meet their obligations to pay players’ wages on time and in full in March and May 2025.

Jack Muldoon will continue to set standards at Harrogate Town for an eighth season after becoming the latest player to commit to a new contract. He follows Mark Oxley, Warren Burrell, Levi Sutton and Anthony O'Connor in signing a new deal before their existing ones expired this month. Of the six existing players the Sulphurites had hoped to sign up, only Josh March has not. The striker will join Crewe Alexandra next month.

Co-owner Julie-Anne Uggla has called for Conference clubs to be given an extra promotion spot after the “injustice” of York City missing out on a place in next season's Football League (EFL). Oldham Athletic finished 23 points behind them in the regular season but beat Southend United 3-2 after extra-time in Sunday’s play-off final.

Two-time promotion-winner Lewis Cass has joined Harrogate Town on a two-year contract. And whilst the right-back stopped short of setting a third as his target at Wetherby Road, he is excited to get going. The signing is second time lucky for Harrogate's head of recruitment Lloyd Kerry, who has tried to sign the 25-year-old before.
