Clejan is an Atlanta-based musician who describes his music as “trap violin.”“I’ve been trained in classical violin since I was three. Basically, what I do is I take classical violent elements and I lay that over hard-hitting trap and hip-hop beats, and then I like to rap over those as well, sometimes while playing the violin,” he said. He has since read the book several times, striking a new chord within him each time. This memoir inspired his work on view at the Carter Center, “The Nature of Man: Landscapes from the Childhood of Jimmy Carter.” They are realistic landscape paintings of various locations special to Carter’s childhood in Sumpter County, Georgia.
