It also helps provide medical scholarships to aspiring doctors. One of those recipients is Cain Dudek, who is what you would call a non-traditional medical school student at Penn State College of Medicine. He's 31 years old with a young family and a previous career.

Two Pennsylvania lawmakers introduced legislation aimed at improving how violent crimes are solved statewide. The Violent Incident Clearance and Technological Investigative Methods (VICTIM) Act would create a new grant program through the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency to provide law enforcement with the tools and resources needed to improve clearance rates for homicides and other serious offenses. We're learning more about a man charged in an April crash that killed two Lancaster County children headed on vacation with their family. Aaron Croom, 24, was arrested for driving under the influence just a few months before the deadly crash in Maryland. Croom pleaded guilty in March to DUI in connection with an incident in January in his home state of West Virginia. According to the criminal complaint, an officer found Croom on Jan. 14 in a black BMW in a parking lot.

Pennsylvania Attorney General Dave Sunday says some renters are getting refund checks after a settlement with a property management company. Sunday said Home365 used an artificial intelligence-based platform to assist its operations, which resulted in maintenance delays.
