    Plans have been published showing how a city bridge could be transformed. The underpass at Clare Road Bridge in Cardiff will have new lighting, resurfaced pavements and artwork installed, under the plans. The bridge links Grangetown and the city centre and runs alongside the River Taff. Iron plaques will be put on the floor, showing local landmarks and key events from the area's history. Cardiff Council say it will improve safety and accessibility when work starts later this year.

    Actors in all-black with 'fake weapons and bodies' have been spotted filming at a popular Cardiff location. Llandaff Cathedral has been closed off for filming production on Wednesday, April 2 for what is rumoured to be season two of the TV show Paris has Fallen. Actors, film crew and their equipment were seen opposite the cathedral with signs posted up warning residents of “replica weapons and fake bodies” that will be used in the area.

Neglected as a puppy, the lonely dog has been at the centre since July 2024 and has been available for rehoming since September last year.     THE carousel on Cardiff’s Queen Street is being taken down after nearly a decade in place and is set to be completely removed by the end of today. But a brand new carousel will take its place by next weekend. Work to dismantle the ride began yesterday (March 24). It is owned by Sayers Amusements, which also operates Cardiff’s Winter Wonderland and Cardiff Bay Beach attractions.
