It was Ravens vs. Steelers Part 3, under the lights in Baltimore. The Ravens entered as heavy favorites against their division foes. The Ravens came out strong and easily silenced by the few Steelers fans who braved the frigid temperatures. By halftime, the Ravens had a 21-0 lead and more than 300 yards of total offense led by Derrick Henry and Lamar Jackson, who ran early and often. The Steelers’ offense showed up in the third quarter as they scored 14 points, but the Ravens remained in control.

Lamar Jackson has suffered only one defeat to an NFC team during his tenure as quarterback in the NFL. The Ravens were back home against the hot Philadelphia Eagles, and it seemed the wind was to the Ravens’ backs. They jumped out to an early lead; however, the ominous sound of a “doink,” a Justin Tucker-missed extra point that hit the upright, was only an indicator of things to come. The 9-0 lead was where it ended for the Ravens.

The Ravens traveled to Los Angeles to play under the lights of Monday Night Football against the Chargers in what was dubbed “The Harbowl” as brothers John and Jim Harbaugh coached against one another for the third time. If you were hoping for the Ravens to get off to a fast start, you were disappointed. The Ravens started off sluggish, but the first quarter was no indication of how the game was going to go.

It was an AFC North showdown under the dazzling lights in Baltimore for Thursday Night Football as the Ravens hosted their division rivals, the Cincinnati Bengals. The Ravens got off to a slow start. Lamar Jackson couldn’t get going, and neither could Derrick Henry. They went into the half trailing 14-7. That felt a bit troublesome, considering the Ravens’ offense has been consistently putting up big numbers.

The Ravens were back home in a week 9 showdown against the Denver Broncos. The first quarter was like a heavyweight prize fight with back-and-forth possessions. The Ravens struck first with a touchdown run from Derrick Henry. They added a Justin Tucker field goal and took a 10-0 lead. But the Broncos dug into their trick play bag, where their quarterback, Bo Nix, caught their only touchdown of the day.
