EUGENE, Ore. — The University of Oregon now confirms that four international students have had their visas revoked by the US Department of Homeland Security on unspecified criminal charges. In an update sent to our newsroom, the university tells us that they were not informed in advance and were not given details about the nature of the charges. Should a student's F-1 visa be terminated, UO is required to inform students.

SPRINGFIELD, Ore. — An assault and kidnapping in the 500 block of S. 72nd St. in Springfield Friday night. A reported man was assaulting a female and a male inside the house. This was around 9:48 p.m.Springfield Police was able to help the male victim away from the house and then surrounded it, calling for other residents to exit. Later, the female victim exited the house.
