    A Leominster man pleaded guilty Tuesday to stabbing a flight attendant with a broken metal spoon after attempting to open an emergency exit door during a 2023 flight from Los Angeles to Boston, according to the US Attorney’s office. Francisco Severo Torres, 34, is charged with interference and attempted interference with flight crew members and attendants using a dangerous weapon. Sentencing is scheduled for July 17.

    A man was killed in a Tuesday afternoon shooting in Roxbury, Boston police said. Shortly before 3 p.m., police responded to 107 Munroe St., where they found a man with a gunshot wound, the statement said. The victim, whose name has not been released, was transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
