In Boston, parts of the Green Line are now closed through Sunday for routine maintenance work. This includes the B, C, D and E branches. Good news: the Green Line is getting its tracks together. Bad news: it's during an inconvenient time for commuters who rely on it every day in the center of Boston. "It's difficult," said commuter Sam Petri. "I know they have to do it, I'm happy they're upgrading it. It's nice to see that but wish they could plan it a little bit better you know.

A father-daughter day on a lake in Lunenburg, Massachusetts ended with a 911 call they say because of a stranger who hurled rocks and racial slurs at them. Police said that stranger, David McPartlan, is now facing charges of assault with a dangerous weapon and assault to intimidate. With the catch of the day in hand, it should have been the perfect daddy-daughter day for Sheron Brown and his 10-year-old girl on Lake Shirley.

Construction on the Mass Pike near the Newton-Weston town line in Massachusetts is now underway, backing up traffic as the highway is down to one lane in both directions. Saturday morning, as expected, traffic conditions were already shown as slow on the Mass 511 map. MassDOT has closed a 2-mile stretch of the Pike from Weston to Newton, leaving only one lane open in each direction. It's all part of a massive bridge replacement project by the I-95 interchange.

Manchester police said they first responded to a report of a stolen car near 5 Clifford Avenue just before 1:00 a.m. Wednesday. The victim, who was a food delivery driver, told officers he briefly left his car and when he came back it was gone.

Click here for updates on this story LEOMINSTER, Massachusetts (WBZ) -- There's outrage in the Leominster community after vandals targeted Little League baseball fields. Now because of the damage, the young players can't play there until it's fixed because of safety concerns. Vandals cut the 30-foot-long backstop and ripped out all the padding, which is there to protect the kids. The damage was discovered Monday morning by longtime volunteer coach and league president Rob Lora.
