BARBOUR COUNTY, W.Va (WDTV) - Allegheny Metallurgical is back in business, as they’ve successfully come out of chapter 11 bankruptcy this month. The company will re-enter the market with reorganized leadership and the company says a “renewed focus on maintaining and expanding operations”. In a press release, company officials say the next steps will include the installation of longwall mining equipment and bringing operations online.

BUCKHANNON, W.Va (WDTV) - It’s a tradition that starts at a young age here in Buckhannon. MORGANTOWN, W.Va (WDTV) - The Claude Worthington Benedum Foundation awarded Main Street Morgantown a $120,000 grant to bolster opportunities for entrepreneurs in the area. Thanks to partnerships with Bridgeway Capital, the Monongalia Arts Center (MAC), and the West Virginia University Fashion Design and Merchandising, the organization has over $200,000 for its Artisan Entrepreneurship Program (AEP). Amy Loomis with Main Street Morgantown says the progression of AEP is a huge win for the community.

MONONGAH, W.Va (WDTV) - A woman was threatened with her life after a traffic stop gone wrong in the small Marion County community of Monongah on Thursday, August 1. A social media wildfire spread after a family friend posted the video showing a man, who identified himself as Monongah Chief of Police Nathan Lanham, threatening to kill 49-year-old Beth Delloma. Delloma was originally pulled over for having expired registration tags on her license plate, according to her attorney.
