Atlantic Coast beaches have a charm all their own, but they don't often get the same level of gushing admiration that their counterparts on the Gulf Coast are so accustomed to. While Florida beaches get praised for looking like the Caribbean and having out-of-this-world blue waters, beaches in Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Virginia have to work a little harder to earn their fans.

Being a Southern surfer requires a bit more patience and ingenuity than is expected of athletes who live in West Coast locales like California and Hawaii. The Atlantic Ocean’s waves aren’t typically as big, or as consistent, but for those who know the right places to look, a rewarding experience awaits. What I don’t understand about Christmas is how it makes so many educated people forget how to use the plural “s” and not make it possessive. Just why? Who do the Smith’s belong to?

We’re watching the Tennessee game with my mom rn and her last comment was: “See there he goes not making it. I don’t like him sometimes,” in reference to Najee Harris gaining 5 yards on a run. But honestly she’s not wrong. We all know who the real Harris running back is.
