AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - Richmond County deputies on Wednesday released the name of a suspect they’re seeking in connection with the shooting of a 29-year-old mother last year on East Taylor Street. Shawn Antonio Walker, 44, is wanted for murder and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, according to the Richmond County Sheriff’s Ofice. The warrants were in the May 22, 2023, shooting that killedShaneikwa LaFavor and injured an 11-year-old child and a man.

So I just made it my mission to make sure that law enforcement officers all over the United States felt appreciated and knew that they had people in their corner and praying over them,” she said.
