    REDSTONE ARSENAL — NASA says a building at Marshall Space Flight Center was damaged Tuesday evening as severe storms moved through North Alabama. An official with NASA reported the damage to the National Weather Service on Tuesday. A damage report filed by the NWS said the damage was to an unoccupied warehouse. The report said the roof and side of the building were damaged in the stormThe agency said no one at the space flight center was injured during the storms.

    HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — Officials with HEMSI say a man was killed Tuesday when he was hit by a car on University Drive in Huntsville. HEMSI Spokesperson Don Webster said a man was pronounced dead on the scene after he was hit by a car at 9:28 p.m. Tuesday. Webster said the incident happened near 4709 University Drive. HEMSI said that the driver of the vehicle did not leave the scene. The Huntsville Police Department is investigating the incident.
