The representative survey brought interesting findings according to our research questions:First, a relevant number of about 4% of respondents, who had lowest wisdom affinity, may constitute a group in need of wisdom and coping training, especially as these are in one fourth of cases impaired by chronic illnesses, i.e. enduring real-life problems.

Microbial ecologists apply indices originally intended for, or adopted by, macroecology to address questions relating to taxonomy (conserved marker) and function (metagenome-based data). In this Perspective piece, I begin by discussing the nature and mathematical quirks important for interpreting routinely employed alpha-diversity indices.

Estimation of the properties of the sublimation products leaving the cometary nucleus is one of the significant questions in the study of the dusty-gas flow following the Rosetta mission. It is widely assumed that the temperature of the water molecules emitted is the temperature of ice directly exposed to the surface. However, it is the simplest non-verified idealisation if the refractory porous material lays on the surface and controls the energy driving the ice sublimation.

The axenic culture of Prorocentrum cordatum strain CCMP1329 used in this work was obtained from the Provasoli-Guillard National Center for Marine Algae and Microbiota (NCMA). P. cordatum CCMP1329 was cultivated in L1 minus Si medium, which is a modified L1 medium [83] in which synthetic ocean water was used instead of natural seawater, and Na2SiO3·9H2O omitted. Cultures were routinely maintained by transferring 15-day-old culture (10 mL) to fresh medium (90 mL) in 300-mL Erlenmeyer flasks.
