    METHUEN — Police officers combed the hallways of the public high school Wednesday morning, searching for threats while students played other roles during an active-shooter simulation. According to police, it was the largest active-shooter training drill conducted at the school, involving roughly 62 people. The rest of the students went into lockdown, treating the drill seriously, said police.
