    The Preston Indians competed in a very competivie 5A State track meet at Mountain View High School on May 16-17. The boys team finished Preston finished ninth overall with 30 points and the girls were 11th in also with 30 points. Bishop Kelly rolled to the boys title with 113 points, while Skyline was a distant second with 57. The Moscow girls were triumphant with 95 points, followed by Bishop Kelly with 79.

    The Lady Indians finished the regular season with three wins, including a huge game at Bear Lake which tied the series and Preston won the tiebreaker for first seed. The Indians will host the winner of the Snake River and American Falls game on Saturday, May 2 in the 4A District 5 Softball Tournament. Preston picked up a big district win, 14-9, over Bear Lake. The Indians handed the Bears their first district loss. Preston picked up the win despite seven errors as it had 14 hits.
