Charleston Police have arrested a second man in the pedestrian deaths of two Simpsonville women. Seth Alan Gilbert William Carlson, 32, of Summerville was arrested on Monday in connection to the deaths of Lizzy Zito and Arianna Gamber, both 20.   Zito and Gamber were killed in the early morning of April 28 as they walked on Morrison Drive near the on-ramp to the Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge. Max David Gentilin, 25, surrendered to the CPD on May 1.

Greenville County Sheriff’s Office has made an arrest in a three-year-old murder case. According to Deputy Jeremy Holt, Dequavious Decold Marquize Gambrell, 27, was arrested Friday by GCSO officers. Gambrell was charged with murder in connection with the 2021 fatal shooting of Terrico Damarcus Burts, 24, at Club Swag.  Both of the men were of Greenville. Police say Gambrell and Burts got into an altercation that ended with Burts being shot on July 22, 2021.

Greenville teen has been arrested and charged in the death of his mother. According to Greenville Police Sgt. Diana Munoz, Nyjaylan Smith, 19, was charged with murder on Friday in connection with the death of Antrina Natasha Smith, 42.  Earlier Friday, police officers responded to a call of a shooting in the Berkley Pointe Apartments on 500 Wenwood Rd. When officers arrived, they found Smith with a gunshot wound to the head.

Greenville Police have arrested a man suspected in the hit-and-run death of a pedestrian on North Pleasantburg Drive. Officers arrested Marion Dodd, 60, of Taylors on Friday, according to Greenville Police Sgt. Diana Munoz in a press release issued Tuesday. Dodd was charged with reckless homicide, hit and run resulting in death and hit and run resulting in great bodily injury. According to police, his silver Chevrolet Trailblazer was identified through CCTV footage and eyewitness accounts.

Two Spartanburg County teens have been arrested in connection to a fatal shooting on April 21. According to Greenville County Sheriff's Lt. Ryan Flood, the fugitive apprehension specialized investigations team arrested Kel-Xhyjaih Shaiquise Azon Bobo, 18, of Inman on Saturday. He's suspected in the death of Cor-Shawn McGee, 19. Decarlos Bryanthony Ross-Johnson, 19, of Pacolet, was arrested on April 23.
