Clearpoint Recycling, Enviroo sign PET supply contract

U.K.-based recycling and waste management company Clearpoint Recycling has announced a contract with London-based polyethylene terephthalate (PET) recycler Enviroo. The contract requires Clearpoint Recycling supply material to Enviroo’s new plastic recycling plant in Ellesmere Port, England. Clearpoint Recycling will deliver more than 30,000 metric tons of recyclable PET annually once the facility opens in 2027.

DEP says this is not a renewal of the operating permit, and this action will only extend KSL’s existing operating permit until Oct. 6, 2025.

MTM Critical Metals secures supply agreement with Dynamic Lifecycle Innovations

Veolia’s Arkansas hazardous waste treatment site wins environmental awards

France-based Veolia recently received industry awards for a series of sustainability initiatives at the company’s hazardous waste treatment facility in Gum Springs, Arkansas, specifically for the installation of a solar array covering 30 acres. According to Veolia, its solar panel installation will lead to a 90 percent reduction of Scope 2 emissions from electricity consumption over the next 25 years compared to similar facilities consuming electricity from the current Arkansas grid.

Interchange Recycling's EPR stewardship plan approved in Yukon

Interchange Recycling, a Victoria, British Columbia-based not-for-profit organization dedicated to the collection and recycling of used motor oil, oil filters, oil containers, used antifreeze and antifreeze containers, has announced its expansion to Yukon, starting Aug. 1. A new permanent collection site will accept lubricating oil, antifreeze, diesel exhaust fluid, oil filters and all automotive containers from Yukon residents, and will be in Whitehorse, Yukon.
