They had just finished renovating their home on Kyiv's outskirts, where they planned to raise their three-month-old boy. That dream fell apart on February 24, 2022, when Vladimir Putin ordered the invasion of their country. "It was hard for us to make that decision [to flee]," Oleh says, recalling the journey that lay ahead of them.
