    TREMONTON, Utah — Fire Chief Ned Brady Hansen was arrested Monday for allegedly sharing child pornography, according to Brigham City police. Tremonton Mayor Lyle Holmgren said Hansen has been terminated from his position with the city. "We are deeply saddened by what has occurred and for those impacted in any way," said Holmgren. "He did a good job."Brigham City police received a computer-generated tip in November from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.

    Former Utah State University Associate Vice President and Deputy Athletics Director Jerry Bovee alleges his boss, USU Athletics Director Diana Sabau, was 'hostile' toward him from since she was hired. In a lawsuit filed in December by Bovee's Salt Lake City attorneys, Lisa R. Petersen, Amy L. Herrington, and Cohne Kinghorn, it alleges Sabau was hostile to him and his subordinate, Amy Crosbie, and others from the beginning of her tenure at the university.

Adderson is claiming “substantial damages and reputational harm,” according to the lawsuit that was filed in 1st District Court in Logan.

    HYRUM, Utah — The Cache County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report Friday night from a local resident in Hyrum, who discovered what appeared to be old military ordnance buried on his property. The ordnance has been determined to be inert, according to Cache County Sheriff's Lt. Tim Ramirez. Deputies confirmed the object’s appearance suggested it could be military ordnance. To ensure public safety, deputies evacuated nearby homes as a precaution.
