    PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Nine cats died in a Forest Grove fire that significantly damaged a Forest Grove house Monday afternoon. The fire in the house on D Street happened around 3:15 p.m., Forest Grove Fire & Rescue said. Firefighters had to knock down the front door to battle the blaze that had spread into an attic bedroom. Holes were cut in the roof to help remove the heat and smoke, officials said.
