(KOIN) — Former Oregon Secretary of State Shemia Fagan agreed to pay a fine from the Oregon Ethics Committee to settle the investigation that began after it became known she had a side job with a cannabis company while her office audited the Oregon Liquor and Cannabis Commission. In the agreement signed last week, Fagan said she agreed to pay the $1600 fine because of the expense of continuing to have legal counsel.
