April Hoyrup is now out of the hospital, and her road to recovery is long but there's progress. As for justice, she says that’s a different story. “My leg is fractured in three different places. I had to be in a wheelchair for three months. My pelvis is broken,” said Hoyrup.

CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — Mellott Boxing Gym was an outlet for kids and teens in Cumberland County for years until it was devoured by flames in late May. Owner Allen Mellott says he's not only lost a building to train in, but a place that was a second home for kids in the area; providing a healthy activity and getting them off the streets. “Business wise it pretty much puts everything at a dead stop. I have nowhere to train anyone,” said Mellott.

LEBANON COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — A woman who lives in Lebanon County said two people broke into her apartment and stole several items, including a bible. Those suspects are still on the run, according to the victim. The woman, who's name is Mackenzie, said they walked up, broke the latch on the window, and climbed right in, stealing her bible this past Sunday. “It hit a different nerve because my bible? On a Sunday?” Mackenzie said to CBS 21's T.J. Anthony.

DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — A Dauphin County couple said they can’t shake off a thief, who was caught on camera targeting their sweet honey business. They said this has happened multiple times over the past couple months. The suspect is skipping the honey and going straight for the money inside of a cash box. “I think it’s just a crime of opportunity. We called the cops. They’re staking out here. We’re doing everything,” said Brad Moyer. A sweet treat turning into a sweet cash grab for this suspect.

The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) has cut funding for several organizations, some of which have roots in Central Pennsylvania. While some people are happy with the recent cuts, seeming them necessary, others are left scratching their heads. A Carlisle youth organization is feeling the effects of those same cuts now. The executive director of SPY, Jeanna Som, said months ago the organization had tens of thousands of dollars approved for a summer program.
