HELENA — East Helena residents who are within the Administrative Boundary of the Superfund Site are encouraged to receive free blood lead testing. "The lead testing is just another opportunity, if you have concerns, that's available for you. City of Helena's Parking Division customer service office moved locations

HELENA — The City of Helena’s Parking Division customer service office has moved locations. The Parking office will now be located at the City-County Building on the first floor in room 151. The office will be open Monday through Friday 8 AM to 4 PM, except on approved holidays. The Parking office manages paid parking lots and spaces downtown, residential parking districts, and more.
Montana FWP reminding hunters to properly dispose of animal carcasses

HELENA — Montana Fish Wildlife and Parks wants to remind hunters to properly dispose of animal carcasses to help mitigate the spread of disease. According to Montana statute, dumping carcasses is illegal. It can result in fines up to $500 and can also result in the suspension of hunting and fishing privileges for one year. Disposing of carcasses on public or private land can increase the risk of spreading diseases such as chronic wasting disease (CWD).
