Here we go again. Another TikTok challenge is making headlines. But this one’s not just dangerous. It’s both illegal and potentially deadly. There have been several TikTok challenges that made headlines over the years, including the milk crate challenge, the blackout challenge, the Benadryl challenge, the fire challenge, the NyQuil chicken challenge, and yes, even the Tide Pod challenge.

Something big is coming to a Michigan movie theatre this summer...literally. A massive new IMAX auditorium with luxury recliners and VIP pods is on the way. Movie theaters face more competition than ever and are doing everything they can to keep audiences excited about seeing their favorite films on the big screen. Streaming really put pressure on the industry, forcing theaters to step up their game with bigger screens, better sound, and luxury seating.

Over the years, we've watched restaurants come and go in Genesee County, but rarely do we see one disappear only to return 10 years later. Well, that’s what it sounds like is happening with a once-popular steakhouse that suddenly closed back in 2015. At the time, the closure caught many residents off guard. Corktown closed back in March, Wyandotte shut its doors in January, Ypsilanti went dark last October, Clinton Township closed in August, and Grand Rapids called it quits in December.

Summer weather is finally here, and things will really start to warm up over the next couple of weeks. It won't be long before your kids are itching to hit the beach, or better yet, one of Michigan's giant floating water parks. Wait, you didn’t realize Michigan had floating water parks? With more than 11,000 inland lakes in the state, it would be pretty dumb if we didn’t have at least a few. Luckily, we’ve got more than that, and they look like a total blast.
