BENTON TOWNSHIP — The U.S. Postal Service is vacating its location at The Orchards Mall for a new spot in Benton Township. Police say Benton Harbor players, coach threw objects at referee

DOWAGIAC — Police say they have identified players and a coach from Benton Harbor who allegedly threw objects at a referee after the team lost a playoff basketball game to Buchanan this week. Citing video evidence and witness statements, Dowagiac Public Safety Director Steven Grinnewald said several assaults took place against a referee at the end of Wednesday’s game between the Benton Harbor and Buchanan boys basketball teams.
