PULLMAN, Wash. β Washington State men's basketball received a verbal commitment from a not-your-average location on Tuesday. Tomas Thrastarson, a 6'6" guard from Iceland, announced his commitment to WSU via Instagram along with a CBB Europe post on X. Thrastarson averaged 17 points, 5.7 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game last season in the Iceland-Subway League, the top level of Icelandic basketball in the region.
