Sentencing has been delayed for the man convicted of attacking two protesters outside a Baltimore Planned Parenthood center. Last month, a jury found 28-year-old Patrick Brice guilty of second-degree assault and reckless endangerment in the 2023 attack on a 70-year-old man and an 80-year-old man. Brice appeared in court for sentencing last week, but the judge has postponed it until Aug. 7. Brice was also charged with first-degree assault in the incident, but the jury could not reach a verdict.

The Maryland Department of the Environment said if it smells on your drive through Towson on the Beltway, there’s no need to worry. A tractor trailer carrying 6,000 gallons of milk overturned on Interstate 695 in Towson early Saturday. The milk spilled onto the roadway and into a nearby creek. Commuters may smell a stench as the milk begins to sour. In addition to the spilled milk, 75 gallons of diesel fuel was also recovered. No injuries were reported in the crash.

Police have arrested two men in connection with the death of Blake Bozeman, a former basketball player at Morgan State University, who was shot in 2023 at a nightclub in Washington, D.C.On March 21, the two men, 44-year-old Cotey Wynn and 41-year-old Antwan Shelton, were taken into custody for the killing of Bozeman. He played four years as a starting guard for the Morgan State Bears from 2011-2015. The shooting happened outside the Cru Hookah Lounge just before midnight that evening.

The Towson native accused of fatally shooting the UnitedHealthcare CEO will not appear in court this week. Luigi Mangione was supposed to appear in a Manhattan federal court this week. However, court records show his case has been postponed until April 18. Mangione is accused of ambushing and shooting Brian Thompson on Dec. 4 outside a Manhattan hotel where the head of the United States’ largest medical insurance company was walking to an investor conference. Mangione faces separate prosecutions.
