TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - Tyler police have released a body cam video showing the moment a Tyler police officer’s gun was fired from his holster while attempting to make an arrest. According to Tyler Police Department spokesperson Andy Erbaugh, police first responded to a theft at Dollar General on Gentry Parkway around 2 p.m. on Sunday. Brianna Erwin is charged with aggravated assault of a public servant, among other charges.

According to Tyler Police Department spokesperson Andy Erbaugh, police first responded to a theft at Dollar General on Gentry Parkway around 2 p.m. on Sunday. The officers then found the suspects had run away from the store toward the intersection of Albertson and Whitlen avenue.
