SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - After 41 years of being a staple on West Madison Street, Rosie’s Cafe is closing in Sioux Falls. The staff and family who have been behind the cafe for so many years said Thursday was a bittersweet celebration. One last lunch special at Rosie’s, as the family-owned restaurant will close its doors after Friday’s open house. Rosie’s was started by Rosie Warner when she bought it back in 1984. SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - The NSIC Softball tournament begins Wednesday, with the conference’s 10 top teams vying for the title in Sioux Falls. Last year, the conference switched to hosting the tournament at campus sites, with top-seeded Augustana hosting at Bowden Field. The Vikings are hosts again in 2025, something the team is looking forward to. There’s the obvious home-field advantage for Augustana, getting to play right at home. But for the athletes, it’s more than that.
