    HARARE,  Mar.24 (NewsDayLive)-A Zimbabwe Prisons Correctional Service officer appeared in court on Monday facing allegations of slipping a gun to an armed robbery suspect who immediately shot his way to freedom at the Harare Magistrates Court on Friday. Donald Madzinga (39) was remanded in custody to March 26 for routine remand after being advised to approach the High Court for bail application.

    Mar. 12 (NewsDay Live) - A Harare businessman was allegedly duped US$50 000 by a Chirundu man in a botched gold deal. The matter was withdrawn before Harare magistrate Rufaro Panavanhu after the State indicated that the complainant was not available since he had travelled to Dubai. Paul Rubvinga (28) was advised by the court to return on summons if the complainant has managed to come and testify before the court. The complainant is Ali Noshad of Milton Park in the capital.

    HARARE, Feb 24 (NewsDayLive) - Local development company, Eastwind Trust, has been taken to court for allegedly developing an illegal settlement in Harare's Donnybrook Park, and defying an eviction order. The company’s representatives Rodgers Pote (43) and Trymore Arineshito (39) appeared before magistrate Tapiwa Banda on Monday for trial commencement. The complainant was identified as Homegram Investments Limited represented by Jason Pasade (44).
