On Saturday, the Panthers won game two over the Cougars 1-0 in eight innings, as Kendall Grover scored the game-winning run on a wild pitch. TUSCOLA (WCIA) — Tuscola’s Kam Sweetnam has committed to Danville Area Community College for college basketball. The second-team all-state guard was key in Tuscola’s run to a sectional title game. He held offers from multiple JUCOs but said DACC was the right fit. CENTRAL ILLINOIS (WCIA) — Saturday’s slate included plenty of important games at the college and high school levels, including Illinois and Parkland at home. The Illini dropped their final game of the season at home to Ohio State, and their season is over after falling short of the 12-team Big Ten softball tournament.
