Worthy's attorney, Chad Pinkerton, confirmed that court records show the lawsuit Worthy filed against his ex, Tia Jones, is being dropped, along with a request for a protective order. Online court records show Jones, a Team USA track athlete, requested Tuesday to dismiss a temporary order of protection she received against Worthy as well.

Houston held the lead late in the second half but couldn't hold on against talent Florida team. Houston clinched a trip to the national championship in its Final Four game against Duke. The Cougars won 70-67 in the final seconds thanks to two clutch 3-point shots in the final seconds and an over-the-back foul call against Duke freshman phenom Cooper Flagg.

Worthy, a former Texas football player who has an address in the Austin suburb of Georgetown, was arrested Friday. He was booked for assault against a family or household member by impeding their breathing or circulation, which is a third-degree felony. Williamson County District Attorney Shawn Dick on Saturday evening told the Statesman that, after speaking with multiple witnesses, his office is not accepting the case at this time.
