A father and son will make local history Thursday when they file petitions to run for office together in the City of Rochester, a first for Monroe County. Clifford A. Florence Sr. is launching a campaign for Mayor of Rochester, while his son, Clifford A. Florence Jr., will seek a seat on the City Council. The two will submit their campaign petitions at the Monroe County Board of Elections at 2 p.m. today (April 3rd.)Both men are direct descendants of the late Franklin D.
