Lufkin ISD officials learned that two Lufkin High School seniors will be attending Ivy League universities in the fall after they managed to match with a school out of a pool of 20,800 applications, according to Sheila Adams, executive communications director for the school district. Ian Falcon will attend Columbia University, informing the crowd that he had just received a confirmation email as the meeting began.
