Owner Daniel Vengoechea said Ruah Cafe opened on FM 2978 March 19, serving items such as toast, crepes, specialty coffees, wine, smoothies and salads. Toast options on the menu are inspired by different geographic locations, such as the Curacao featuring vanilla yogurt and fruit, and the Austin toast with pulled pork and orange BBQ sauce. St. Luke’s Health has awarded $1.5 million in grants to nonprofit agencies for projects relating to the health and well-being of those in underserved communities.
