Updated 10:24 p.m., May 3Election night tallies show voters in Fulshear endorsing two bond propositions for parks, with 66.22% of voters approving Proposition A for $10.75 million in funding for Primrose Park Phase 3 and 33.78% voting against it—a vote of 835-426. For Proposition B, $2.75 million in parks funding, 67.06%, or 845 voters approved the measure, and 32.94%, or 415 voters opposed it. "The residents have spoken pretty clearly," Mayor Don McCoy said on election night.

County Judge Mark Keough said in a post on social media the bond will allow for the county to make investments in its roads. Opposing the bond proposition are 2,751 early and absentee votes, or 47.08% of those votes. All results are unofficial until canvassed. Montgomery County commissioners agreed Feb. 11 to put a $480 million road bond referendum before voters in the May 3 election.

The Woodlands Christian Academy plans to expand to support the school’s growth, and it raised $1.75 million at its annual gala April 12 as part of that effort. Some of the first projects to be implemented in the master plan include a private driveway for the Lower School that enhances safety for students as well as expansion of the Nehemiah Academic Center to house the growing Middle School enrollment, according to a news release.
