Texas Children's The Woodlands in April announced it had received a Level IV designation for its NICU, the highest level awarded by the Texas Department of State Health Services.

What they offerThe 33,000-square-foot clinic offers primary care for adults as well as OB/GYN and pediatric services, according to a news release. The clinic also offers on-site diagnostic services, including X-rays, ultrasounds, cardiac stress testing and laboratory services, according to the news release.

Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County, Texas raised more than $1 million at a May event to support the nonprofit's mission of building affordable homes. The Building Hope Gala, the 12th gala event held by the organization, took place May 3 with a Kentucky Derby theme. About 600 guests attended and participated in silent and live auctions, raffles and other events to help raise money.
