    A shelter-in-place order is in effect in the area of Howell Mill Road in northwest Atlanta due to a reported gas leak. The issue has closed the southbound I-75 exit to Howell Mill, which is shut down between the interstate and Defoor Avenue, according to the WSB 24-hour Traffic Center. A strong odor can be smelled nearby on Northside Drive. Atlanta Gas Light personnel are at the scene. Atlanta fire crews are on standby, according to a spokesperson.

Saturday’s drawing failed to produce a grand prize winner for the estimated $134 million jackpot, with a cash value of $61.5 million. But someone in Georgia still had millions of reasons to celebrate after matching five winning numbers and the “Power Play,” according to the national Powerball website. The winning numbers were 21-22-25-32-38 with 16 as the Powerball number.

The hurricane is expected to make landfall between Panama City Beach and Cedar Key ataround 8 p.m. Thursday. Much of southwest Georgia is under a hurricane warning, and heavy rain and winds will reach North Georgia.
