    A cyclist has suffered "life-changing" injuries following an early morning collision in Leicestershire. Police have arrested one man in connection with the incident. The collision happened just before 5am on Sunday (April 6) in Hinckley's Ashby Road and involved a cyclist and a grey Renault Traffic van. Both were travelling towards Hinckley at the time of the incident. Police said the cyclist, a man in his 40s, suffered serious "life-changing" injuries and is in hospital receiving treatment.
