LOS ANGELES (WTVA) - A north Mississippi man crashed into the gates outside the home of actress Jennifer Aniston. This happened shortly after noon on Monday, May 5 in the Bel-Air neighborhood of Los Angeles. The Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office charged Jimmy Carwyle, 48, of New Albany, with felony stalking and felony vandalism. He allegedly drove his car into the barriers outside the "Friends" star home.

OXFORD, Miss. (WTVA) - The man accused of killing Ole Miss student Jay Lee is no longer just charged with capital murder. Tim Herrington now faces a second charge: tampering with evidence. The additional charge was revealed during a court hearing Tuesday in Oxford 62 days after a mistrial was declared in his first capital murder trial. It is unclear when the Ole Miss graduate from Grenada will go on trial a second time. For now, he is back in jail awaiting a bond hearing scheduled for February 21.

WINONA, Miss. (WTVA) - An animal control officer in Winona admits to dumping dogs across county lines. A farmer in Carroll County - which is west of Winona - caught a Winona animal control officer dumping a dog near his property and shared a picture of the act on social media. This caused a social media frenzy, and Winona's mayor and aldermen met on Wednesday afternoon, Jan. 15. Officer Ricky Johnson owned up to the allegation, and the city placed him on probation for three months.

TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) - A Tupelo businesswoman used Southerners' affinity for bread during winter weather to promote her bakery. Tiffany Grice owns Kreecher's Creations, which is inside Midnite Pottery on North Gloster Street. She shared a picture of an empty Kroger bread aisle on Wednesday, Jan. 8 with the following request: "Listen, I need you to come to my shop Kreecher's Creations tomorrow and make my shelves look like this," she posted.

NETTLETON, Miss. (WTVA) - A late-night fire destroyed a house in Monroe County. This happened just before midnight along Highway 6. Nettleton Fire Chief Michael Moody said the occupants escaped safely. The cause of the fire is under investigation. Firefighters from Nettleton, Cason, Evergreen and Union fire departments responded. They battled the fire for approximately two hours. Drew and Korie Kent escaped with their 4-year-old son. Drew Kent believes the fire started in the attic.
