DENVER (KDVR) — Thousands of people headed for Denver’s Downtown 16th Street Monday night for a concert in the newly renovated area. It was one of the first big events to be held in what many people consider the heart of downtown. “The concert just last night was incredible because it was the first time in those two years that we’ve seen thousands and thousands of people come back,” Downtown Denver Partnership CEO Kourtny Garrett said.

AURORA, Colo. (KDVR) — A woman is speaking about a harrowing attack where she fought off a man along the High Line Canal Trail and then warned other women. A very clear video of what police say is the suspect was captured, and police are asking for help. Expo Park in Aurora, southeast of South Havana Street and East Alameda Avenue, is a place many people consider a safe, beautiful place. The attack took place near the High Line Canal Trail.
