CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — $400,000 dollars in donations has been collected by the United Way of the Coastal Bend. That includes a donation by Steel Dynamics Industry. They matched every donation dollar for dollar. The donation drive was supposed to end on March 21st but was extended because more neighbors were interested in helping. Our Neighborhood News Reporter, Victoria Balderrama, was invited out to the final check presentation, where she spoke with representatives.

In the video, you can hear the rattle before the serpent slithered its way back into the tall grass. Another video was taken earlier this month. In it there are two snakes.

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — An anonymous caller told KRIS 6 News that tenants at Broadway Tower are without electricity. This adds to the many issues neighbor’s area dealing with. Back in January, senior neighborhood news reporter Suzanne Stevens reportedthat the building had no water and wastewater services. An in-depth investigation discovered the property management company, TYKO, had not made any utility payment since May 2024.
