Giada Mangino, 18, was crowned Miss Stafford last June. She then came in second in the Miss Southern Maritime’s Teen contest, held in Avalon. As first runner-up, she said, “I went on with my life,” but in January when the first-place winner had to bow out, Mangino found herself stepping into the full title she now wears on a sash. With the regional crown comes automatic advancement to the Miss New Jersey’s Teen pageant on Saturday, June 14, mom Beckie Mangino explained.
