A Sydney Airport employee has been taken to hospital after falling around five metres from an aerobridge earlier on Saturday. Emergency services were called to the T3 Domestic Terminal at around 12.30pm after receiving reports of the incident. The employee, who is believed to be a woman in her 40s, was initially attended to by first-hand responders. According to a NSW Ambulance spokesperson, multiple crews, including a specialist medical team, were deployed to the scene.

Darren Greenfield, the former NSW boss of the CFMEU and son Michael, the union's former assistant secretary, have pleaded guilty to corruption and bribery charges. The pair struck a plea deal with prosecutors, after their lawyer had previously indicated they would no longer be able to use union funds for their defence. The father and son will remain on bail until their next court appearance scheduled for late May.

A man and a teenage boy have been charged over the accidental discharging of a firearm that killed a nine-year-old boy on a property in southern New South Wales. Emergency services were called to a property in Windellama, near Goulburn, about 11:20am on Sunday following reports of a shooting. Officers attached to the Hume Police District were told the nine-year-old had been injured after the accidental discharge of a firearm.

A nine-year-old boy has been accidentally shot on a rural property near Goulburn in southern New South Wales. Emergency services were called to the property in Windellama about 11.20am on Sunday morning following reports of a shooting. Officers attached to the Hume Police District were told the nine-year-old had been injured after the accidental discharge of a firearm. The boy was treated for serious neck injuries by paramedics, but he died at the scene.

A lawyer representing the families of three Bondi Junction stabbing victims say their clients had expressed "support" for a coronial inquest this month. Last April, Joel Cauchi fatally stabbed six people and seriously injured several others inside a Westfield shopping centre in Sydney's east. The inquest will take place over five weeks, and will include family statements and expert reports from psychiatrists and a security expert.
