    JEFFERSON — Hundreds of people attended an art show open house on Monday at Henderson Memorial Public Library, reviewing 279 pieces of art created by students from kindergarten graduating seniors. Sarah Edison, marketing/social media coordinator for the library, said the art came from the Jefferson Area and Pymatuning Valley local schools and Grand River Academy.

    HARPERSFIELD TOWNSHIP — Representatives from Cleveland’s three major sports teams showed up Monday to promote a message of good decision making at SPIRE Academy. The teams threw their weight behind a rally at SPIRE Academy for hundreds of high school students as they prepare for prom season.     CONNEAUT - The sport of basketball took center stage Sunday afternoon at New Leaf Event Center as the Ashtabula County Basketball Foundation honored a wide variety of accomplishments during the organization's banquet. Twelve men and women were honored for their service and accomplishments in basketball, and many young players received accolades for their more recent success.
