More than 30 arts and crafts and food vendors will be there. There will also be live entertainment, a kids’ zone with inflatables and a car show. “Everything is looking good right now,” Valley Haven Executive Director Craig Brown told The Valley Times-News.

The presenter will be Dr. Keith Bohannon, a longtime instructor of history at the University of West Georgia and an authority on the history of the Nineteenth Century South (both before and after the Civil War). This will be Dr. Bohannon’s second program for the CVHS.

Local law enforcement officers, firefighters and paramedics were invited to be there and were treated to lunch afterward in the church activity center. The special service was part of the church’s continuing outreach into the community.
