2025 RAGBRAI Route Crosses Border Into Minnesota For First Time Ever

Photo: RAGBRAI(Des Moines, IA) -- The 2025 RAGBRAI route will cross the Iowa-Minnesota state line for the first time ever. Organizers have released the 52nd RAGBRAI route and map, with a 15-mile stretch crossing the border into Minnesota on Day 2. That's in Jackson County, Minnesota just north of Spirit Lake, Iowa. The annual statewide bike ride starts July 19th in Orange City and ends in Guttenberg on July 26th. The 2025 RAGBRAI route: Day 0 is the Expo in Orange City, in Northwest Iowa.

Bellevue Duplex Explosion Investigated

Several people are hospitalized with severe to critical burns after an explosion at a duplex in the north part of Bellevue late Thursday night. One person who called 911 said they were trapped inside with the house near 48th and Robin Drive still standing, and a strong smell of gas. An exterior wall of the duplex appears to have blown into the yard in pieces. People several blocks away say they felt the explosion. The Nebraska State Fire Marshal is investigating.

Woman Accused of Driving at Four Times Legal Limit in Nebraska

(Hickman, NE) -- A woman accused of blowing a .32 [[ point-three-two ]] blood alcohol level is facing charges after a Nebraska Trooper says he found her stopped in the middle of the road near Hickman, South of Lincoln. .32 is four times the legal limit for driving. The Nebraska State Patrol tells KFAB Radio News the woman was taken to jail. A teen in the car with her was taken to stay with a family member.
