MARBLE CITY – A 10-cent bottle of Coca Cola is unheard of these days, but on May 23 Marble City residents were able to get bottles of the soft drink for 10 cents from a Coke machine donated to the Marble City Activity Organization (MCAO). Residents were able to line up with dimes and nickels to put into the machine donated by Cherokees of Northern Central Valley (CNCV) members Mike and Liz Webb. The Marble City organization and CNCV based in Sacramento, California, are sister cities.
