    SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – The Hampden County Sheriff’s Office hosted the 27th Women in Criminal Justice Conference Friday.     AMHERST, Mass. (WWLP) – The Office of the State Auditor has determined that UMass Amherst violated the law when it outsourced fundraising operations from the school to the UMass Amherst Foundation, privatizing more than 125 state jobs at the school. The report from the OSA says this move violated the Taxpayer Protection Act, and that the school should have sought a determination from the state prior to privatizing those jobs.

Link to Libraries is a nonprofit that aims to increase access to reading for children. The video has circulated around quickly, and many officials have condemned the remarks made by Warwick and Wells.

    SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. (WWLP) – A building in South Hadley collapsed over the weekend. On Sunday, the South Hadley Police Department issued a travel advisory, stating that Main Street was blocked from Lower North Main to High Street as the roof of the building had partially collapsed. Those streets are now back open. When our 22News crew went by on Monday, the building was a pile of rubble and a bulldozer was cleaning up some of the debris.
